Google Pixel 6a The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are a pair of Android smartphones designed, developed, and marketed by Google as part of the Google Pixel product line. They collectively serve as the successor to the Pixel 5.
As it is the sixth generation of the series, the Pixel 6a name has a familiar ring to it. But unlike its predecessors, the 6a is not a brand new model but rather a refreshed version of the existing Pixel 5c. The new model is said to feature a flat OLED display and will retain the aluminium shell found in the 5c, but will also include an upgraded camera with enhanced image processing, the Bison processor, and a larger battery.
It will also come in 32GB and 128GB storage variants, both with 6GB RAM. However, those looking for a more premium experience will have to fork out $799 for the 128GB version while the 32GB version will be priced at $649. The Pixel 6a is said to be made available in India as well.
Google announced the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL in late 2017. The new smartphones featured a near-identical design and size to the Pixel XL released in 2016.

Last year, Google was quite late to the party. Apple had already released the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. The LG G6 and HTC U11 were available. However, Google had one key advantage, especially for a second-generation device: its parent company, Alphabet, is the owner of both the hardware and software side of Android.

The Pixel 6 features a 5.5″ (2160 x 1080) screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio. As we’ve seen with other Google phones the camera is centrally positioned on the back of the phone.
The competition in the Android space is fierce, and the 6 series have a lot to prove.
Among the Pixel 6 series’ rivals are last year’s flagship iPhone X, the Samsung Galaxy S9, and the LG G7 ThinQ. Additionally, new phones with powerful A.I. and facial recognition features will start to arrive soon. Google Pixel 6a
The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will cost $649 and $749, respectively, in the U.S. Google also launched a new financing option, where buyers can spread the cost of the phone over 36 months.
Unlike their predecessors, the Pixel 6 and 6 series have an all-glass design, with a single camera in the back. While the 6 has a glossy, reflective glass back, the 6 Pro has a matte finish. Both phones have an aluminum frame around the edges.
